In 2004, Donald Trump asked billionaire and Democratic donor, George Soros for help. Trump was putting a deal together to build a Trump Hotel in Chicago, and he needed funding. Trump asked Soros to invest in the $161 million hotel project, and Soros agreed because Trump was considered a Democrat back then. But things have changed over the last 12 years. George Soros donated more than $8 million to stop Republican Trump’s bid for the White House.
