Adam Milstein Is Currently Running The Inspired By Israel Competition

Adam Milstein is always looking for ways to get creative with philanthropy and support the Jewish community and Israel, and recently he helped start a competition through the organizations StandWithUs and the Milstein Family Foundation called “Inspired By Israel.” This competition is one in which contestants create videos showing their patriotism and unwavering support of Israel. So far 80 contestants have entered and there will be 10 finalists before the Grand Prize of $8,000 is awarded to the winner. The panel judging these videos includes Adam Milstein’s wife Gila, StandWithUs leader Michael Dickson and David Suissa. This is one of many activities that the Milstein Foundation has supported.

Adam Milstein is currently the Managing Partner of Hager Pacific Properties, a Los Angeles real estate broker firm. The company owns millions worth in properties across California, Illinois, Wisconsin and Texas. Milstein cofounded this company along with David Hager back in the early 1980s at a time when he felt he could exceed the offers given to him in graduate school. Milstein is primarily responsible for financing company purchases and overseeing property administration.

Prior to becoming the cofounder of Hager Pacific Properties, Adam Milstein served in the military and attended college in the country of his birth, Israel. During his military years he met his wife Gila and also was part of then Commander Ariel Sharon’s unit that brought about Egypt’s surrender during the Yom Kippur War of 1973. Milstein also worked with his father for several years in building construction across Israel, and while he attended the Technion he ran a small art sales business.

After relocating to Los Angeles with his family, Adam Milstein began reaching out to other Jewish Americans through the Milstein Family Foundation. One of its key programs is Sifriyat Pijama B’America, a Hebrew language course designed for families to learn. He began working with other organizations including the Israeli-American Council where he currently serves as Chairman, Hasbara Fellowships, AIPAC, StandWithUs and StandWithMe, Hillel, Jerusalem U, Birthright Israel and Aish Ha’Torah. He’s also known as one of the world’s Top 50 Most Influential Jews according to the Jerusalem Post.
